2. Use of This Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • misuse the website or interfere with its operation
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems
  • upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • copy, reproduce, or exploit website content without our written permission
  • place false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or enquiries

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the website if these Terms are breached.

3. Product Information

We take care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing are accurate. However, all information is provided as a guide only.

Please note:

  • product images are for illustration only
  • colours, finishes, and materials may vary slightly
  • dimensions and specifications may change as products are developed or improved
  • some products are specialist, motorsport, prototype, or modified vehicle components that require professional installation and setup

It is your responsibility to ensure that any product is suitable for your vehicle, engine, and intended application before ordering.

4. Performance and Technical Claims

Any references to performance, power gains, weight reduction, thermal performance, durability, or similar product benefits are given in good faith based on experience, development, and testing.

Actual results will vary depending on factors including:

  • vehicle specification
  • engine condition
  • calibration and tuning
  • installation quality
  • supporting hardware
  • operating environment
  • intended use

Because modified and motorsport vehicles vary significantly, any stated figures or results are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

5. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Placing an order through the website does not mean the order has been accepted. A contract is only formed once we confirm acceptance of your order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

  • the item is unavailable
  • a pricing or listing error has occurred
  • the order appears fraudulent or unauthorised
  • further technical information is required before supply
  • we believe the requested product is unsuitable for the stated application

If payment has been taken for an order that is later cancelled, we will refund the relevant amount.

6. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.

Where applicable, VAT will be charged at the current rate.

We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time, but any changes will not affect orders already accepted.

Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Built-to-Order, Custom and Special Order Items

Many of our products are made to order, built to customer specification, or tailored to a particular engine, vehicle, or installation.

For these items:

  • lead times are estimates only
  • manufacture will only proceed once all required information has been received
  • you are responsible for the accuracy of any dimensions, drawings, templates, CAD data, or technical information you provide
  • once manufacture has started, cancellation may not be possible

Unless faulty or not as described, custom-made, bespoke, personalised, or built-to-order items are generally non-returnable.

8. Engineering, Calibration and Technical Services

Where we provide services such as design, prototyping, reverse engineering, ECU calibration, tuning, or technical development, those services are supplied using reasonable care and skill.

However:

  • timescales are estimates unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • outcomes depend on the quality and completeness of the information and hardware provided
  • you remain responsible for the legality, compliance, safe use, and roadworthiness of the vehicle or system unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work where a vehicle, component, or requested application is considered unsafe, unsuitable, incomplete, or beyond reasonable engineering limits.

9. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

We are not liable for delays caused by matters outside our reasonable control, including:

  • courier or transport delays
  • supplier shortages
  • customs delays
  • production delays on custom items
  • missing customer information or approvals
  • events beyond our control

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership remains with us until the goods have been paid for in full.

Please inspect goods on arrival and notify us promptly if anything is missing, damaged, or incorrect.

10. Returns and Refunds

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may have cancellation rights for standard non-custom goods purchased online, subject to the exclusions set out in law.

Returns may not be accepted for:

  • custom-made or personalised items
  • built-to-order items
  • used, fitted, modified, or damaged items
  • items not returned in appropriate condition
  • specialist products supplied for motorsport, development, or competition use where resale or safety may be affected

If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with full details and supporting photographs where relevant.

We may require the item to be returned for inspection before confirming any refund, repair, or replacement.

11. Motorsport, Off-Road and Road Use Disclaimer

Many products sold by GMR are intended for specialist, modified, off-road, track, competition, prototype, or motorsport applications.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • products may not be approved for road use
  • products may affect emissions, insurance, warranty, MOT compliance, or road legality
  • it is your responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations before purchase and use

Where a product is described as off-road, track, motorsport, or competition use only, it is your responsibility to ensure it is not used unlawfully on the public highway.

12. Installation and User Responsibility

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, products supplied by us should be installed and checked by a suitably qualified and competent person.

We accept no responsibility for loss, damage, injury, or poor performance arising from:

  • incorrect installation
  • poor workmanship by third parties
  • unsuitable or incompatible supporting modifications
  • incorrect setup or calibration
  • misuse, neglect, or abuse
  • operation outside intended limits
  • inadequate maintenance or inspection

You are responsible for checking fitment, clearance, sealing, mounting, calibration, fuel system integrity, and overall safe operation before use.

13. Warranty

Where applicable, products supplied by us are covered only to the extent required by law and subject to the nature of specialist performance parts.

Warranty does not cover issues arising from:

  • incorrect installation or setup
  • misuse or abuse
  • competition or extreme use
  • poor calibration or tuning
  • inadequate supporting modifications
  • overheating, detonation, fatigue, or vibration-related damage
  • unauthorised modifications or repairs
  • normal wear and tear

Because of the intended use of many products we supply, we do not guarantee suitability for any specific purpose unless we have confirmed this in writing.

14. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • breach of statutory consumer rights

Subject to that, we shall not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential loss
  • loss of profit
  • loss of use
  • loss of opportunity
  • loss of goodwill
  • damage arising from incorrect installation, setup, tuning, or application of products supplied

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in relation to any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product or service.

15. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, branding, logos, photographs, drawings, and product information, belongs to or is licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or use any part of this website for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

16. Customer-Supplied Information

Where you provide measurements, drawings, CAD data, templates, specifications, sample parts, or other technical information, you are responsible for ensuring that information is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it.

We are not liable for issues arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading customer-supplied information.

17. Third-Party Parts and Services

Where we supply, fit, recommend, or reference third-party parts or services, those items may also be subject to the original manufacturer’s or supplier’s terms.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, installers, couriers, suppliers, or service providers.

18. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including supplier issues, transport disruption, utility failure, industrial action, severe weather, government action, or other force majeure events.

19. Privacy

Your use of this website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, process, and store personal data.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time by publishing a revised version on this website.

The version in force at the time of your order will apply to your purchase.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law states otherwise.
