GMR – Graham Martin Racing exists for one reason: to turn serious engineering into measurable performance. I started GMR after years of building, calibrating, and developing engines at the sharp end of motorsport—because I wanted the freedom to deliver parts that aren’t compromised by mass production, marketing claims, or “universal fit” shortcuts. The same mentality that wins races is now built into every component we ship.
I’m Graham Martin—an engineer and calibrator with a career spanning engine design and build, trackside development, combustion and simulation, and high-pressure R&D environments, including championship-winning touring car programs, senior engineering roles in electrified propulsion, and high-level motorsport engineering work.
Why GMR was built
I’ve always been obsessed with the details that actually move the needle: airflow quality, thermal control, repeatability, packaging, and reliability. Over time, I kept seeing the same problem—great engines held back by parts that were “close enough.” GMR was founded to fix that: engineered components made to fit properly, perform consistently, and survive real use.
From early days running EngineMapper and calibrating OEM/aftermarket ECUs, through supporting major motorsport programs and delivering development gains across top-level series, the pattern has been the same—when the engineering is right, the results follow.
Every GMR product is designed to deliver a real advantage where it matters most: flow, response, and packaging. Geometry is developed with intent—smooth transitions, fully tapered runners, correct injector strategy, and fitment that doesn’t need “porting to make it work.” Where it makes sense, we’ll build to your spec (including port-matching from a traced outline), because the best results come from parts designed around your combination—not a generic average.
This is engineering shaped by environments where failure isn’t acceptable. My background includes leadership and delivery roles across demanding motorsport and high-performance engineering programs—developing engines from underperforming to front-running, supporting championship campaigns, and delivering robust solutions under real deadlines and race conditions.
That experience translates directly into how GMR parts are designed: strong where they need to be, stable at temperature, and built for repeatable performance.
GMR is where cutting-edge manufacturing meets practical race engineering. We use modern digital workflows and advanced composite processes—including Carbon IDT (Carbon Infused Digital Technology)—to create components that are lightweight, highly insulative, and precisely manufactured, with internal surfaces and geometry engineered for efficiency, not just appearance.
Whether you’re building a fast road car, a track weapon, or a championship engine, GMR is about giving you parts that feel like they belong on a works program—because they’re developed with the same mindset.
